Friendly staff, convenient location, the hotel is a short drive from Detroit, making it easy to explore the city and enjoy a good breakfast with various options.

Couple's Bad Experience

We found the manager helpful when we had issues with our key system. She was genuinely sweet and worked to let everyone in personally. The morning breakfast was surprisingly good-not what you'd expect from a typical hotel. I couldn't believe the variety they had!

It wasn't exactly cheap, but it was still somewhat acceptable.

The room was well-appointed and quiet, providing a restful night. Breakfast featured a solid selection with fresh fruits, yogurt, and delicious eggs, catering to different tastes. The location was convenient, only minutes from attractions. One area for improvement would be reducing the use of plastic utensils and dishes to align with sustainability efforts.

Exceptional breakfast and friendly staff

During my 4-night stay, I was truly impressed by the variety and quality of the breakfast, which included freshly baked pastries and numerous hot and cold options. The staff, especially during breakfast service, were exceptionally friendly and attentive, making mornings pleasant. The modern and spacious king room was clean and comfortable, enhancing the whole experience. However, I wish the pool water had been warmer for more enjoyable swims.

The best part of my stay was the heated indoor pool, perfect for relaxing! The room was comfy, but the breakfast options left much to be desired. Still, a great overall experience! 😊

The hotel had friendly staff and a really nice breakfast, making it a pleasant stay overall. However, the room cleanliness left a lot to be desired, as there were visible stains and a musty odor lingering. Also, the noise from outside was quite disruptive.

The Holiday Inn Express & Suites Allen Park features lovely, modern decor that feels inviting. I appreciated the accessibility options, including elevators and spacious common areas, which made moving around the hotel easy for someone like me.

More accessible bathroom grab bars would be helpful.

Had a great one-night stay! The bed was super comfy, and I loved having a clean bathroom. The shuttle to DTW was prompt, making my early departure stress-free.

The indoor pool offers a unique and enjoyable experience, complete with a lift for easy access, making it accommodating for everyone. The clean and comfortable rooms feature Dove toiletries, adding a nice touch to the stay.

The mattress in our Leisure King Room felt overly soft, resulting in some back discomfort—may not matter to everyone, but it was something we noticed. Also, while the breakfast options seemed varied, it didn’t sit well with my stomach during our stay, though my boyfriend and son had no issues. The bathrooms showed some signs of wear, and the cleanliness left a bit to be desired, specifically the sink lining.

The Holiday Inn Express provided a clean and comfortable stay with a friendly atmosphere. The staff was exceptionally welcoming. Cam and Sam went above and beyond to ensure a pleasant experience. The breakfast, though limited, had multiple options to choose from, and the hotel’s location offered great convenience for my work needs.
